The purchaser provides a small amount of assembly (base only) and two 12' 4x4's or six 8' 2x4's for base mounting.  Each saw comes completely adjusted and ready to cut once the base is bolted together and fastened to your wood rails.   No adjustments required!

NOTES ON BASE ASSEMBLIES:  

Base sections are held together with bolts.    Our base sections are meant to be lagged into or bolted through owner supplied 4"x4" beams or similar members to provide a solid level base, but they may also be set up on a concrete floor or other flat surface if desired.   Standard bases are 12' long overall and will cut a log  over 8' long as shipped.  Additional sections (priced below) may be added as required, with no theoretical limit to cut length.   

Long bases may require extra dog and fence assemblies, depending on length of cuts required and the size of logs or cants being cut.  These extra fence/dog assemblies are priced below.  They are meant to be bolted to the base in place of normal base cross-bunks and may be moved as your requirements change.

Lifting off the shipping box reveals the complete mill, in this case it includes the optional logging arch, cant hook, extra base lengths, etc. 

 

 

 

 

 

  

Our "Sawmill in a box" approach means you can set up your saw and be cutting lumber in an hour or less without time consuming adjustments.  Just mount the blade lube tank and bolt on the four carriage wheels per the assembly drawings.  Clear and concise drawings show every feature of the base assembly and, as with all of our saws, you get a complete operating manual to help you understand how your saw works and how to get the most from it.

 This arch is shown with the optional hand cart.  The arch may be connected to your ATV, lawn tractor etc. without the use of the hand cart option if desired.  Not only does the log arch keep your logs from dragging on the ground, but you can use it to load your LUMBERJACK directly, since it will roll right over the saw base.  You can even rotate large logs or flip heavy cants if you need to.  Some owners also haul the finished lumber to their storage facility this way.  Please note that logging arches are not intended for on-road use, and use on steep hills requires a tow vehicle that has adequate brakes.
